Creek Status Monitoring Program
Service: Water Quality Monitoring
AMS is supporting individual stormwater management agencies (i.e., NPDES-permitted stormwater management programs for Alameda, Contra Costa, Vallejo, and Fairfield-Suisun) in design and implementation of creek status monitoring programs as required by the Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit. Monitoring activities include conduct of water quality, sediment, and toxicity sampling, bioassessment, continuous monitoring, stream surveys, and source investigations, as well as providing quality assurance, data management, and reporting. In addition, AMS is supporting the overall project management of the regional collaboration of Bay Area Stormwater Management Agencies Association member agencies through conduct of training, assistance with coordinating monitoring activities, and development of the Program’s Quality Assurance Project Plan and Standard Operating Procedures.
