Modeling Pollutants of Concern in San Francisco Bay
Service: Data/Geospatial Analyses

AMS scientists support the Small Tributaries Loading Strategy in efforts to evaluate methods to optimize the sampling design for monitoring pollutant loads from small tributaries, with the goal of predicting future trends in Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) and mercury. Major technical work includes developing R scripts to perform statistical models to test for trends. The final model resulting from this study will be used to optimize the monitoring strategy for sampling stormwater loads from trend detection in tributaries.
