Fisheries Investigations

AMS staff design and implement specialized studies assessing the short and long term effects of contaminants and anthropogenic impacts on coastal, estuarine, and freshwater fisheries. Results of AMS fisheries investigations are used in contentious Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) investigations, in the design and construction of industrial facilities, and by US governmental agencies in developing natural resource utilization and environmental protection procedures, as well as pollution control and resource management policies.
